PERS: A Life-Saving Link for Best Choice Clients
A small pendant, worn around the neck, can serve as an around-the-clock life-saving communications link for a patient, parent or friend.

In the event of an accident, illness or injury, one touch of the button on the simple PERS pendant immediately activates a telephone voice response through the base unit. If no one answers the phone call, a specially trained technician at the emergency response center calls 911 medical units and the family members and friends listed as contact persons in case of emergency.
Vital information about the client is collected when the PERS equipment is installed and kept on file so that responding agencies know the medical history of the client before they arrive.
